Silver Goose Lodge is accessible by AIR ONLY. Our charters fly into York Factory from Thompson (Manitoba) and Gillam (Manitoba).
The Lodge
Silver Goose Lodge was founded in the 1990′s, and operates mainly for goose hunting, moose hunting and tourist accomodation. Silver Goose Lodge is located at York Factory at the mouth of the Hayes River in the Hudson Bay region. York Factory is a journey’s end for some adventurers and a beginning for others.
For hundreds of years, canoes have travelled the Red River from the United States to Lake Winnipeg, Nelson River, God’s River and then onto the Hayes River to York Factory.
Silver Goose Lodge is equippped to make your stay comfortable with spacious and comfortable fully serviced cabins with generator lighting.
